Almost a month ago, I received an email from a Steve Liu:
At first, I thought it was due to the recent surge of visitors to my site. Wow, an innovative Chinese company wants to piggyback on some guy’s personal website. A simple check online revealed this: http://squelchdesign.com/web-design-newbury/chinese-domain-name-registration-scams/
So I responded back to determine whether I would get a similar email and I did:
I didn’t think some company wanted anything to do with my site and it turned out I was right. Maybe I should have sent the poor guy some money. I would scam people too if I lived in a country with smog and crumbling infrastructure not to mention lack of innovation and exported product quality on par with Russian rocket technology.
In case you wanted to know, here’s the form I was sent:
I can buy the domains for 25 dollaroos rather than for 39 epsilons.
