Ah, I’m happy with the progress I’ve made since beginning the application process. App Academy’s prep work into Ruby was perfect for a beginner for myself (along with Codeacademy’s Ruby tutorial) but at the same time immersive. However, my code submissions were not satisfactory. The codes did not serve their purpose for which I created them and I think that will penalize me in App Academy’s eyes. If I don’t get an interview and don’t get accepted, I certainly understand. Being self-taught in any programming language can be tough without any guidance (at least for me) and would take some time to become proficient in. I did get accepted into another bootcamp but it’s not the one I want to be in since it would be problematic to finance the tuition. In any case, I thank App Academy for the experience for introducing me to Ruby.
