Back to the haircut – if I was living in San Francisco there would be no way I could stand living with short hair in those cool summers (it still boggles my mind how cool it gets but it’s great compared to the dry Texas heat). An unexpected thing happened on my way to the NodeSchool meetup. I ran into a group recruiting for positions at Highfive at the Redwood City Caltrain Station. A great group of people – I’ll have to take the opportunity to check out their facilities. According to the hair stylist who cut my hair (she works right next to the train station), there’s a few recruiting events that happen near there so it’s interesting to see the Silicon Valley skilled-tech scarcity in action. Which reminds me: I lost my CLipper card somewhere in San Francisco. That really pissed me off but I only have myself to blame. Learn from my mistake and don’t carry any card in your pocket lest it falls out.
Meh, do not have anything else to report. Hopefully, my next post is a tech blog or how I got my foot in a great startup. I’m enthusiastic about August.
